The meeting was a blast, as usual. Eleven people attended, all regulars.

John Orlando

John displayed a table full of photographs from RoboCup 2001, held in Seattle. He was really impressed with the quality and quantity of the robots. John encouraged people to attend the event in future years.


Albion catalog featuring John's BattleBot, Fusion.

John Patrick

John brought an Albion catalog featuring John's BattleBot, Fusion (R.I.P.). The catalog was very slick and the picture of Fusion is quite prominent.

David Wooden

David showed a working mini-Sumo robot he's building. For now, the robot is wired to a remote control for testing. Ultimately, the robot will have some onboard brains for autonomous action.

The four squishy wheels have excellent traction. The robot is fast and stable.
